supreme power??origin of the universe??realisation??countless views have been put forward for and against these subjects.well here is an interesting perspective:
“Who knows for certain? Who shall here declare it?
Whence was it born, whence came creation?
The gods are later than this world’s formation;
Who then can know the origins of the world?
None knows whence creation arose;
And whether he has or has not made it;
He who surveys it from the lofty skies,
Only he knows- or perhaps he knows not."
oh BTW this is from the rig Veda.thought you people may like it anyway.

While it may be a nice job for people who want to know all that, I feel I am just not interested in knowing the answers. One of those questions, knowing the answer to which takes the real charm out of livimg with the question. What say? Questions agaian... :P
the RIG veda says this? nice!
and to think people embrace idol worship as the absolute cos the 'scriptures say so'
ahem this is only one of the verses.:D read Vivekananda .Vedas chart the evolution of our whole religious thought right worshiping nature spirits to the grand oneness f advaita[Vivekananda s ideas].so every person in his own spiritual level will find something which will help him.for some it is idol worship..i reiterate ,idol worship helps in assigning a physical form to the infinite thereby making it easier to connect and it also facilitates as a concentration point too.
Sure. Idol worship facilitates a concentration point. But the contemporary pseudo-religious people would be better off as atheists.
